Backed by extensive research, we’ve identified these key commitments that will allow us to focus our time, energy, and capital on doing the most good. It also allows us to strengthen our partnerships, build relationships, and inspire more people to make a difference.
We prioritize immediate and sustained support for communities impacted by natural or man-made disasters or significant societal crises and will commit funding through donations to nonprofits delivering aid and relief efforts.
Our charitable contributions reflect and magnify the positive impacts of our mission to improve the health and vitality of those we serve. The Cigna Group℠ gives to communities in three primary ways: through The Cigna Group Foundation, corporate giving, and employee giving and volunteerism.
Our colleagues play a powerful role in creating change in their communities. Through hands-on and skills-based volunteering, our efforts add up to millions of dollars of value annually for the communities where we live, work, and play.
Building healthier communities takes all of us. Every hour volunteered, every donation made, every ounce of kindness given–that's what creates better health for all.
Our Innovation Lab in St. Louis hosted a career forum in partnership with the St. Louis Internship Program, giving tours of the lab and pharmacy to high school students interested in health services-related careers.
